Is this contraband?
Absolutely not! Trainees are allowed to get mail sent to them and the drills cannot look through letters! It will come as a 2 page letter inside of a normal white envelope and will not be politically bias. Nothing in these letters will be considered contraband.
Isn't the whole point of basic to be disconnected?
That is up to you! Yes you will be disconnected from your phone, family, friends and distractions, but knowing what's going on outside of basic should not affect training. If anything it will boost troop morale and allow them to not worry about what's happening in the world!
Does the company sandbox do this too?
Sort of, Sand box sends a 1 page news article about a specific topic but is not customizable and is only related to the military. With us you can personally customize your letters to suite the interest of your soldier! It is also a cheaper option.
